Children's of Alabama wanted to communicate to visitors, staff and employees that aggression of any kind is not appropriate and acceptable. Rather than telling people "don't do this" or "don't do that," our approach reminded people the type of behavior that is desired and appropriate. By asking people to stop and think about how they act towards others, the campaign helped reduce incidents of verbal abuse and physical violence on campus.
